There is no limit to the amount of times you may access your box and there is no need to make an appointment. Our business operating hours apply
We will require you to prove your identity using an acceptable form of photographic identification (a valid ID or drivers’ licence) and a proof of address (a utility bill or other approved document less than 3 months old).
No. You will be issued with the key unique to your box. Each box is opened using a dual-lock system. The “customer” key and one held by “us”. Each box requires both keys to gain access, neither us nor the customer can open the box alone.
You will be issued with a key at the time of rental. If you lose it, you should inform us immediately. You will then need to make an appointment with us, to ensure you are present when a locksmith drills open your box. You will be responsible for the cost of the locksmith and the subsequent repairs that are required.
Yes. You are not permitted to store items such as: Noxious materials, explosives, ammunition, gas canisters, liquids or perishable items. See our terms and conditions for a comprehensive list of additional prohibited items.
For your security, the vaults are fitted with time locks and only accessible within our business operating hours.
Unfortunately, we only allow customers and authorized personnel to access the vault area. However, we have pictures and all the other necessary information for you to be able to decide which box you would like to rent.
Yes! You do not have to be a resident in order to rent a box; all you need is a valid passport and proof of residence whilst in South Africa.

All customers must provide next of kin and other contact details on the application. The normal estate laws will apply. Your executor would deal with your safety deposit contents as they would with your other assets.
